US Embassy in Baghdad for the Protection of DFI
Struggling Iraq economy is being supported by the United States even after seven years of the establishment of the current democratic government. In the absence of all kinds of Iraq structure, skilled man power and technology things are still very challenging for Iraq. Uncontrollable law and order situation is fuel to the fire in the current scenario.
Alsabaah. I reported on the 19th of June 2013 that US took that step to keep the process continues for the protection of the Development Fund for Iraq. That would lead to the better the growth rate of the Iraqi economy. US President Obama shared his views that US support will continue to provide Iraq all kinds of legal protection for its financial matters.
The US Embassy in Baghdad will not only provide the legal protection to DFI but also resolve the outstanding claims as part of an entrepreneur. US President added that Iraqi assets in the USA will also be provided with all kinds of the legal protection. A question answer session was held on the 17th June 2013. Under the UN Resolution 1483, all Iraqi development Funds will protected from international claims which Iraq requested several times after the deposition of Saddam.
US provided extension on his money as Chapter VII is still in progress. Financial experts are flagging in favor of that extension so that remaining amounts could be transferred to Fund and CBI would take that responsibility itself.
